Halloween Bash / DJ Battle 2018

Back to School Bash: October 26 2018. 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM @ Student Center East. Chicago, IL

UIC's Halloween Bash is a way for UIC students to come together and celebrate Halloween on campus. Each room of UIC's main campus has different games and activities for students to enjoy such as: Laser Tag, Haunted House, Karaoke, Fortune Tellers, Airbrush Tattoos, Dance Floor, D.I.Y stations, Pumpkin Carvings, Free Food, and UIC Radio's Halloween themed DJ Battle between competing students. 

My role for the Back to School Bash was serving as the event lead.

Duties included:

- Booking all vendors

- Securing contract with vendors

- Reserving the rooms / meeting with UIC's Rooms & Reservation Management

- Maintaining the budget sheet

- Strategic marketing to promote event

- Booking security

- Managing staff day of event

- Creating production agenda for event

- Recruiting student DJs to compete in the DJ Battle

- Securing audio and tech needs for DJs
